Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to review your insurance and prepare quotes for you. Depending on how you contact us, this may include:

Contact details you provide, such as your name, church name, role, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
Church and property information you submit through our intake questionnaire or share on a call, such as building details, staffing, coverage needs, and prior claims.
Current insurance documents you choose to upload or email, such as declarations pages, policies, and loss runs.
Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit our website, such as pages viewed.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you share to:

Review your current coverage and prepare submissions to the carriers in our pool.
Communicate with you about your review, quotes, documents, and scheduling.
Provide the service you asked us for and respond to your questions.

Text Messaging and Mobile Information

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it to continue the conversation we are already having with you about your church's insurance, for example to send coverage details, the intake link, scheduling, and to follow up. We also send an automated reply if you call our number and we miss the call.

We obtain your consent to text you verbally during a phone call, or you contact us first by calling or texting. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help.

Mobile information is never shared with third parties. No mobile information, including your phone number and your consent to be contacted, will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, and are not used for any purpose other than the messaging described above.

How We Share Information

We share the insurance information you provide only with the carriers and underwriters we approach on your behalf, so they can quote your church, and with service providers who help us operate, such as our secure customer records system. We do not sell your information. As noted above, we never share mobile opt-in information for marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share. Insurance documents you upload or email are handled as confidential and used only to prepare your review.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing steve@crexchurch.com. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
